In a private pool is tame. My wife, before we met ,used to go skinny dipping in her parents pool in Kenya.
I loved the fact it was a mixed group of late-teen girls and guys.
After we met, we were told about a place on a river on Exmoor, Devon/ Somerset border that was good for this.
It had to be a warm day and out-of-school holidays so that limited the times we went. It was a long walk from the nearest place to park a car.
On a few occasions, groups of walkers meant stripping off was not the thing to do.
But when we did find it empty, it was idyllic and exhilarating.
The water is clear and a little fast-flowing in places. The only hardship is quite a steep bank to climb out of.
We only got spotted once , by an old man walking a dog. He gave a friendly wave, my wife waved back .He walked by very, very slowly!
