Ecstatic Dance - Only One Nude
So I got to experience dancing at an ecstatic dance being the only one nude. That was so surreal and beautiful to be myself completely naked while everyone else was clothed.
I was messaging different yoga studios on if they allowed speedos and I found out from one that not only do they allow that, that they host an ecstatic dance once a month that is clothing optional. They don’t advertise the clothing optional aspect and you find out in the confirmation email.
After circle, I had to figure out a certain amount of time to lapse before getting naked so I wouldn’t look too eager. I danced to two of the songs, then decided to go for it, my body was warmed up, nerves gone and I just felt ready to strip down on the way.
Wow! I’m finally naked. I feel the air caress my balls. I was liberated, I was free. And I was in such a public setting. Out of the 25 something amount of people, 3 I knew. First one is the owner of the space. The other one was a friend who decided to come after I told her about the dance and how it was coloring optional and it was time for me to live a a little, and last was a client of mine. It was weird but I was determined to experience this even if it meant losing her as a client (she’s still a client 🙂).
This time I dance in my spot, not moving around the dance floor. I was still cautious not overdo my movements. I wanted to bend over but decided not to as I was still testing the waters to see if nudity really was no big deal there. Everyone danced, some people danced around me. The owner came up and danced with me.
So there was finally naked, only one nude, feeling the air around me with all of me. It does turn me on but more so it just feels right. I know now that I’m meant to be naked and it works for me because it is me, my expression. I’m more open about liking being naked now. Whenever friends want to come over, I’m going to tell them I’m a nudist and see how they feel about me remaining naked when they come over.
And so the night went on and I got to spend 2 and 1/2 glorious hours being the only one nude at the ecstatic dance. Wow, I can finally cross that off my bucket list! Can’t wait for more!
