I Like To Go To Nude Sauna

On the advice of a good online friend I tried a C/O spa on my last visit to Portland. I've never been to Portland and knew the local community has a more relaxed "European" attitude about sauna. Honestly I had no idea a place like this existed here in the States. Every place I've tried here is either nude with the genders in separate spaces or bathing suites required. My expectation was that the crowd would be sparse since its a Tues night. I also expected the typical American modesty with most people either wearing bottoms or keeping their towels wrapped tightly around them. Wrong on both accounts. I counted 5 other men and about 8 women, all nude except one lady who chose to keep her bottoms on. I was also pleased to see how clean the place was and how safe it felt for people to enjoy the spa without a friend in tow. Finally it was nice to talk with others who were enjoying the experience. Everyone was so friendly. I didn't initiate any conversations (wanted to avoid the appearance that I was hitting on anyone) but 5 people began chatting with me in the two hours I was there. All in all, a terrific experience. So glad my friend gave me the recommendation.
