dont go to german ones... i am german myself and i thought i was in some kind of ridiculous stereotyped comedy spoof.
i all serioussness they had an alarm going on every day at 7:00 to wake everyone up on the camping site and if you did more then a whisper past 22:00 you would get fined. and beach itself wasnt all that nice either.
best places i been to were in croatia, but you dont have sand beaches there but thats fine with me.
in france they are hit and miss, there are some really nice ones but they private clubs and quite expensive while other are more on the open side.. in every way.
