I Am A Nudist With My Family
Well further to my other stories, I am writing this to encourage other shy naturists to talk about their preferences with friends and family.
As I have said before, I have kept my naturism largely to myself due to the perceptions I believed other people would have about it.
Whilst I used to be nude in front of my wife (obviously), I have been walking around the house more lately. There have also been references in front of her family and in front of friends about how little I wear or the things I have been doing whilst nude.
However, recently I had decided that I wasn't going to be embarrassed about it any more or think it is a taboo subject.
I have been walking around the house a lot more frequently in the nude and my stepdaughter now knows that I prefer to be nude. The other day we had been to the gym and whilst my stepdaughter was in the shower, I just took off my sweaty gym clothes, put them in the washer and went and sat on my bed whilst I waited for the bathroom to be free. I was still sat there talking with my wife when my stepdaughter came out the shower and walked straight in our room. She just said "hi naked *". I raised a leg to cover my modesty so as not to embarrass her.
Whilst my stepdaughter was in her room, I went down to get some drinks. As I turned to get the milk, my stepdaughter came walking in the kitchen. Again I covered myself with my hand so as to avoid her any embarrassment. She was not bothered and thought it funny I walked round the house and covered myself with my hand. I explained I didn't want to embarrass her and she commented on how I always like to be naked. I explained that I was a naturist and that's how I prefer to be. After our chat I went upstairs and was stood on the landing talking to my wife through the open door. Something was said that made my stepdaughter come out her room onto the landing. There I stood with a drink in each hand and still naked. We all just carried on our conversation as if nothing was any different.
Once in my room I sat on the bed having my drink whilst waiting my turn in the bathroom. Again my stepdaughter came in and had a lengthy conversation, wandering around the room and showing me things on her phone, even though I was still naked.
My wife and stepdaughter are now very comfortable with me wandering around naked.
On a different note, whist out with friends, we were talking about our recent holidays when naturist beaches were mentioned. So I talked about the times I had been and how I was at home now. The friend was very accepting of this and we talked at length. They came back to ours that night and as we walked down our path our female friend said "don't worry about us if you'd prefer to be more comfortable". I knew what she meant but on this occasion didn't take up the offer.
So, anyone out there who is nervous or a closet naturist, I would highly recommend talking with friends and family about it as the response can be very accepting.
My life has changed immensely in only a few weeks.
