Answer to a Question Often Asked

Something I’m often asked is what is the craziest thing I’ve ever done nude on a dare. And the follow up is usually would I do it again. Well here’s the answers to both.

It’s late September 1990 and I’m a sophomore at the University of Texas. My roommate and I live in an apartment just off campus. It’s a Friday night and we’ve just got back from an afternoon on Lake Travis with friends. We met some girls and invited them to join us for a night at a little blues club and some drinks at the apartment before. As I’m getting showered up and ready the 5 girls and a couple of our buddies show up and the drinks are flowing. Some how the topic comes up that I’m naked a lot and the girls are laughing and one of them dares me to get naked right there. I’m sure no one is surprised that I did. Now the girls are blushing and giggling. My roommate says “he’d probably walk all the way to the club like that” and without missing a beat one of the girls lays down the dare. Walk naked to the club and I don’t pay for any drinks. 5 blocks from the apartment down the Drag, the street that barriers the west end of campus, from 21st to 26th on a Friday night. We’ll I did it. Handed the girl who dared me my clothes and off we went. The street was packed with cars and the sidewalk was loaded with foot traffic. Drunken college kids smiling, waving, laughing, pointing and I just carried on like it was no big deal. We got to the club, she handed me my clothes, I got dressed and we went inside. And no I didn’t pay for a drink that night. Another bonus was her staying the night and the fun we had back at home lol.

Would I do it again? No. That was way before cell phones, much less with cameras and internet access. I did see some flashes go off so there’s a possibility some evidence exists. I attached some Google maps pics for some perspective on the walk. Green is where I started and red is where it ended.
