Incidental nudity in the family... Birdie

I wasn't raised nudist but with myself, my three siblings and my parents living in a bungalow with one bathroom, there was definitely incidental nudity which always seemed quite normal to us. When taking a bath, I was taught to always leave the door unlocked in case someone needed to come in. Seeing or being seen by a family member while nude in the bathtub was both normal and natural. It never made me feel awkward or uncomfortable.

Living in a small house with a family of six, we didn't always have the luxury of complete privacy when bathing, or changing clothes, or when receiving old fashioned bare bottom discipline.

We lived near the ocean so dad built a small outside shower where we could rinse off the salt and sand from ourselves and our bathing suits. The shower was enclosed on 3 sides so we couldn't be seen by the neighbors but we were visible from a rear window of the house.

Like most families of that era, we didn't have ac so on warm summer evenings, my mom dressed for comfort in a sheer nightgown. I thought she looked very beautiful in her thinly veiled nudity.

When I became a preteen, she bought me a matching sheer nightgown. I loved it and I wore it proudly ro the smiles of everyone.
