Why is it wrong to sit around naked together as a family?

So many people encountered here seem to think nudity is something to be ashamed of and avoided like the plague, but they don’t know why or seem willing to elaborate about it. They just think it’s dirty and stupid and disgusting. But why?

You are naked when you are born, and while you are being operated on in hospital, and while you’re in the morgue waiting for your autopsy! You are naked in the bath or in the shower, in the tanning salon, and when you’re sunbathing on the beach you wear the skimpiest outfit for the sun and to be seen!

The majority of psychological disorders are caused by fear of nudity, and some would say that sex crimes are caused by a fear of nudity (at least some of them, since Muslim rapes are caused by inadequacies of other forms and factors).

In our family there is a whole holiday period at my grandparents farm in Sicily where we are just as welcome naked as clothed, and that includes at the dining table and in the salon to watch TV or play computer games. The only thing that you need to do is be clean!
