We have done that several times going through the deserts of southern California.
At times we have gotten out and hiked a few trails also.
We did receive many smile and waves.

I have drove several times fully nude and know over the years I have been seen by several drivers of HGV and some have hooted their horns , most awkward is in a traffic jam on the motorway and a HGV or coach is at the side
