A wise Husband has established required levels of behavior and his wife fully understands that she must behave; therefore she expects to face correction when she errs. Without such correction her life of submission counts for nothing because no woman will submit to a man who ignores her. A submissive wife loves and needs a firm hand and it is essential that her Husband strictly adheres to his standards by correcting his wife in a constant manner. She will glow inside with the certain knowledge that her Husband loves her enough to correct her.

I completely agree. A submissive wife may not want the pain of correction, but she needs to feel her Husband's power over her as He firmly and lovingly corrects her. She proudly wears her stripes from His belt as a reminder that He loves her and will do what He feels is best for her.
@StrictSouthernHOH My wife also loves the pain of sitting on hervery red sore butt cheeks afterwards. She says this adds to her feelings of being corrected! We therefore also whipped our girls' butts when they were in need of correction, and also maintenance whippings!
