I Am Still Spanked

I am so mad. Mom was super annoying telling me about my chores this morning and I just said "I know I can read" because we have a chart with our chores in the kitchen. Paddle and now I am grounded this weekend. I don't know what is wrong with her.

Well to be completely fair to your mother you were pretty disrespectful answering her back like that. By the same token I think either the paddle or the grounding should have been enough, not both

Well you do have a point there but I would think that perhaps the punishment might not have been done correctly and discussed in the way it should have been for her to still have that attitude
