I Have Witnessed Others Spankings Growing Up

I was 13 when I got my last spanking. My 10 year old sister and I were talking after lights out when we were supposed to be asleep. After a couple of warnings, our mother stomped up the stairs and flew into my sister's room.

We had a door which directly connected our two rooms. So when my sister's light snapped on, through the open door I could clearly see my mother whisk back my whimpering sister's coverlet, sit down on her bedside and pull her face down over her lap.

In a twinkling she had tucked my sister's nightie turned up above her waist, revealing that she had nothing on underneath. Then she proceeded to give my sister as hard a spanking as I had ever seen her give. After a couple dozen hard, fast slaps, my wailing little sister's bottom was bright pink - leaving no doubt in her young mind, I am sure, that she had just been very soundly spanked indeed.

Then our mother came through the doorway into my room. At that age, I thought I was too old to spank. Wrong! She sat down on the side of my bed, ordered me to turn on my tummy, then pulled down my pajama bottoms and spanked me.

It did sting, but not enough to make me cry. I didn't make a sound actually. This was the only time I ever received a formal spanking from my mother which didn't make me cry. At the time, I imagined this was because I was such a big kid. That was probably part of it. But looking back, I suspect her palm was already so tender from the major tanning she'd just given my sister, that she couldn't make herself spank me full on.

So although we were both equally misbehaving, my sister unfairly got the worst of it. This as my last spanking, but it wasn't my sister's last!

Aspies19: Yes, my mother was a hand spanker only, at least with me. When my sister was six or seven, I remember our mother brandishing her hairbrush and warning my sister to behave herself. But I don't know if she ever actually spanked my sister with it.

My father was spanked with a razor strap by his father when he was little. But he didn't carry on that tradition with us. He imitated the way my mother spanked us, except I don't remember him baring us, which my mother pretty much always did.

I knew that many other kids got spanked with implements, but I never asked my mother why she didn't do this. For one thing, talking about spankings with her felt very awkward. And for another thing, I didn't want to give her any ideas!

Same situation with me. My youngest sister and I were always very close. In third grade, we SHARED a room since our older sister was a mid teen and needed her privacy so she had he own room and the house only had three bedrooms.
We moved when my older sister entered college. Her room was the only one down stairs. Upstairs there were there connecting rooms with doors to each.
My parent's had a room at the front, my sister's was next to theirs then mine was in the back.
We'd sometimes visit verbally at bedtime, which our parents didn't mind since we were usually quiet and din't carry on for too long. We'd spend the day playing together anyhow so had little to say at the end of each day.
Since I had never witnessed a spanking of hers, I one time denied she was ever spanked and she assured me she was, though I still didn't believe it. We spent a lot of our days together and I had never seen, heard, or heard of a spanking she had ever received.
She spanked her own three kids and I witnessed a few and NONE were as any we had gotten growing up. She'd spank in anger but limited the swats to around three each time. To my knowledge, none of the ones she gave were OTK like ALL the ones we had received.

It might be that you mother figured out it didn't hut you anymore and stopped for that reason... often parents stop for that very reason... just a thought ...
