Punished by my parents

I always respected my parents decision in that if they felt I needed to be punished for my wrong doing then so be it .

This punishment happened when I was twenty although age doesn't really come into it I had done wrong and
deserved to have my bottom dealt with.
Anyway this is what happened when my parents were on holiday I was at that time I was living at home on my own as my sister had
married and left home 2 years ago, anyway to cut along story
short this is basically what happened I took my mothers sports
car out for a spin one evening but unfortunately for me, my sister spotted me driving it as she didn't live that far away and was out walking the dog at the time.
Of course she informed our parents and of course the decision was
taken that I should be punished for my wrong doing as I had taken the car out without permission and not ensured etc, there was really no argument I agreed I had done wrong and deserved to be punished .

My parents decided that I would be punished in the lounge and that I would receive a hand spanking and the belt with my sister present.
I was twenty years old at the time and although an adult I had acted like a teen so it was only right that I be punished .

My punishment was to take place in the evening at 7 o'clock which is when my sister arrived, I was told to get ready for my punishment, which meant me stripping down to my t-shirt and briefs.
When my sister arrived I returned to the lounge in readiness for my punishment I was told to stand in the centre of the room where a stall had been placed, this was very embarrassing as my sister had not seen me in my briefs for many years or naked for that matter.

Anyway my mother started the proceedings by telling me to lean over the stall and place my hands on the legs, she immediately slipped my briefs down and she started to hand spank my bottom this carried on for some minutes until my bottom was well warmed up in readiness for the belt, which father now had in his hand as soon as mother had finished I was told to turn around and face them as I did so my briefs ended up at my ankles so I stepped out of them as there was no point in leaving them at my feet so I was now totally naked from the waist down so my sister had a perfect view of penis etc .

Father told me I would receive 10 stroke's of the belt across my bottom and to turn and bend over the stall, as I was about to bend in readiness for my punishment when my sister suggested that my t-shirt should also come off, they all agreed and so my mum helped me take it off, I placed my hands on the seat as before and father then took belt gave me the thrashing that I know I deserved, striking my bottom ten times by the end of it I was feeling quite tearful but I knew it was what I deserved .

What are your thought's on this matter? I know I was twenty years old and acted irresponsibly by taking the car without asking I realised I had done wrong I don't think age comes into it at the end of the day I had done wrong and my parents felt this was the best method, to deal with me and I respected there decision as this was what was best for me.

Was this punishment severe enough?
