Childhood spanking

I was spanked during my childhood/teens, by my parents I believe they were right to do so, spanking only occurred if I badly misbehaved, in which case my jeans and briefs were taken down so my bottom was
bare for a hand spanking, later in my teens the belt was used, there's no doubt I deserved these punishments
as it taught me respect and right from wrong.

Even to this day I still feel the need to have my bottom spanked and strapped, do you think it is right to feel this way, what are your thoughts?
