Hey everyone! I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself.

This paddle has been in my family for generations, and it was definitely put to good use on me growing up. It has a lot of history behind it, which is why I thought it would make a fitting first photo.

I'm curious... did your household have a particular implement that was used for discipline? A paddle, belt, slipper, wooden spoon, cane, or something else? If you're comfortable sharing, I'd love to see the one that has a story behind it and hear a bit about its history.
