Seasonal Spankings

Were spankings more common at this time of year? I was discussing this with my wife earlier.

At school, in 6th form, several of us got the cane for going to the pub at lunchtime, often to meet up with former schoolmate who had left school and started work. At home, even as young and not so young adults, we often got spanked for over indulging in alcohol and/or being rowdy late at night coming home from the pub. That was especially true for women.

Did others here have similar experiences?

Season's Beatings? I don't think that was the case where I lived. Summer was a more active time, often away from home, and with too many ways to get into trouble. But I guess winter would have been better. Like a hot cup of coffee, spanking is better on a cold day.

@hipanonymous Good point. There was still a seasonal aspect though as the type of things we got spanked for varied with the seasons to some extent.

My experiences were similar. Several friends and I got the cane in 6th form for going to the pub. We also got spanked at home for drinking too much, getting home later than agreed, and rowdiness.

I often had trouble sitting in the afternoon at this time of year when I was in 6th form.

We also got the slipper for snowball fights, both in primary and secondary school.
