Mr. Wroes Virgins by Jane Rogers (Spanking interest!)
Mr. Wroes Virgins by Jane Rogers was written in 1991, and made into a TV series.
It's based on a true 19th century story about a prophet, John Wroe, who was 'told by God' to gather 7 virgins around him and begin a new moral order.
This came to be, and a community developed with very strict rules about behaviour, and equally strict discipline... usually meted out by the women.
A teenage village boy, Tim, has stolen a horse, and is to be punished.
The women are discussing the punishment to be administered tomorrow, whilst the boy is sleeping.
In a chillingly matter-of-fact way, the de facto governess instructs that Tim is to receive 'stripes'.
This means that he will be caned across his bare bottom, with his night-shirt raised, and that he is to be well-striped... the usual punishment for miscreants.
She adds that in order to restrain him, another woman should hold his private parts whilst he is being thrashed.
This induces a timid titter amongst the ladies, which the governess fails to understand.
A question is asked: "But what if he becomes... er... inflamed during the punishment?"
She meant of course 'erect' but the governess remains bemused.
She then interprets it to mean 'what if his bottom becomes too sore', and chuckles, saying: "Oh no, the punishment shall not be so severe so as to inflame..."
But eventually it is spelt out to her that the thrashing may produce a sexual reaction... the opposite of what the morality of the community stands for.
Still, the governess cannot understand the link between a bare bottom thrashing for the boy, and him becoming 'inflamed'!
Well, I wish I'd grown up in that community, I must say... being gently 'restrained' by virtuous women, whilst ending up with a hot stripy bottom. All in the name of morality!
Ladies... what do you think?!
