Spanking for Effect

How were you spanked? What do you remember most... the pain? or the shame? I know when i was punished as a teen - the fact that others could be there, and would be allowed to watch.. Or at the holidays - any kid could be punished for acting up... and then bare bottom against the wall for corner time... So, what do you remember most about your punishment..the pain, the exposure, the shame?

I've gotten spanked by both my mom and my dad, always bare. Mainly over the knee, bent over the foot of my bed or back of our living room couch. It's been with a hand, hairbrush or belt. The last one I got was almost five months ago when I was still 18. It's the pain but more the humiliation of being punished with a spanking, especially at this age. I still found it humiliating to be getting spanked even when I was 10, though.

@Morgann18 very good... as one gets older, at times, the idea of a spanking, can be viewed as a therapy spanking, and not necessarily due to one doing something wrong.. When the day just has been hectic, the mind wont stop overthinking, when one feels like they are a bit spinning out of control, at times, a good firm, slow spanking can help break through...reset the computer per se'

@Morgann18 I didn't find any difference between the early ones and the later ones because I feared all of them. It never got easier to get it. I always wanted it to stop as soon as it started.

Once it really was over, I wanted the pain to hurry up and subside but I never found a way to hasten its departure. You were fortunate if it did relieve anxiety or stress. Did you replay it in your mind?
