I'm growing up now and corporal punishment is a common affair in my home.

My mother spanked me bare in public many times pants down. I, like you grew up in the 60’s-70’s when this type of punishment was allowed more. She often tied my hands as I lay across her knee. She’d tie me to a tree often in the backyard or in a wooded way. I was thoroughly embarrassed and humiliated that people would come to watch and mother delighted so. She stopped hitting me when I was almost 18.

Same here we all got it growing up in the family.

I was spanked at school by the principal with the large wooden paddle. Sometimes he’s had the old my ankles. Sometimes you would have me lay down over two chairs so my butt was suspended in the space between the two chairs.
I remember once he was so aggressive, paddling me that he hit the ceiling with the backswing of his paddle and he would bend his knees and sink into each swat. It was like he was trying to cut me in half.
I thought my mom was OK with that so I never said anything she thought that when I got paddled, it was just a couple squats on the butt.
As soon as she realized how bad it was she took me out of school and threatened to sue the school, the principal quit And moved to the other side of the country

Dad hit us with a board from my tool set. He was married to his second wife and Mom dumped 3 of us on him.
You could tell he was angry and I was 63 pounds at 12 years old until the authorities took us away. Believe it or not the Guardians Home was a hell hole also.

Yes I took was spanked y my mother ,once in a blue moon by my father but my mom and my brothers g/f both spanked me bare ass. The older I got the longer spankings with hairbrush or the belt.it was most embarrassing brothers gf spanked me several times in front of her young daughter .over there knee or over the back of a chair

That's very much the way I grew up, and in the same era. It seemed there was never an alternative to spanking, unfortunately. I got spanked until I was 19.
