That was how my mom spanked us children... No other way. As I got older I hated the "Take off your panties now" part, but mom was adamant. In her view, a spanking could not be given any other way. And I have to say that today I quite agree with her.

bare bottom, but seldom with a brush. Usually a lilac switch or leather strop Dad got from a barber's shop. I usually just used my hand with my children or occasionally a 12" ruler.
