@Sharon My friends never got it as bad as me and my brothers. Other's families were more relaxed about it. I wish mine had been.

@PhoenixPhail My friends' parents were much the same as mine, not overly strict but more than willing to spank us all if we misbehaved.

@Sharon It also led me into connecting spanking with sexual behavior, since there was an element of sex in the way I was spanked.

@PhoenixPhail I disagree. It never stopped my friends and me misbehaving so it taught me it doesn't work. I didn't spank my children and, if anything, they were better behaved than my friends and I were.

@PhoenixPhail It did have that effect on me. I'm sure there was always a sexual element to spankings.

@Sharon It's, at least in part, probably what's behind the excitement I have in role play spanking. It's something new for me, and fun, with a willing and playful partner.
