What was the ritual when you guys got spanked. For me I would get lectured a bit prior but I was usually already in trouble so there wasnt much of an explantion why I was getting spanked. The ritual was always being told to go to either to my bedroom or my living room. Sometimes I was escorted to the bedroom. My dad usually had the belt in hand and would walk me to my room. Once in the room I was ordered to take my pants down and bend over the bed. I may argue my case a little and make things worse but I would eventually comply and the spanking would start.
