I Was Spanked With A Slipper When I Was At School

I wrote in another post as to how your first taste of corporal punishment used to earn you a certain status amongst your peers. Your first caning in particular elevated you to the caned club.

However there were quite a few girls who were always well behaved and were regarded as "goody goodies". When we were 13 or 14 several of us tried to annoy them to get them into trouble which often didn't work but I recall one girl who was aloof, clever and thought she was better than the rest of us.

Several of us decided that she needed taking down a peg or two and decided to see if we could get her the slipper. An opportunity arose when we had a particularly strict maths teacher who was quick to use her slipper. The girl left her bag unattended and we switched her maths exercise book for another similar book at the end of the lesson so that she could not do her homework which had to be handed in the next day. We knew that the teacher would slipper any girl who had not completed her homework.

We all waited with bated breath on the following day when the girl looked very uncomfortable and red in the face. She had to admit that she had not completed her homework as she had taken the wrong book home. There was a loud ooooh! sound from the rest of us as she was called to the front. We all watched with immense interest as she was told to bend over and I think she received 3 whacks. To give her credit she took the whacking well and somehow afterwards gradually mixed with us more.

At my school getting the slipper was a rite of passage, you became someone who'd had it.
It was important that you got in front of your class and that you took it with dignity.
It was something you wanted to happen to you and yet something you wanted to avoid!

@SW-User It was at my school too. My wife says the same about her school. You weren't one of the "in crowd" until you'd had it.

@SW-User true...most boys wanted it so as to be accepted but most deep down did not want it and were scared. The sight and sounds of a boy getting his bottom caned or slippered was really scary for those that had not had it...and for those that had.

@Rebecca54 i was at an all boys school and deputy in an all boys private prep school. As a boy teacher would make you drop trousers and pants, lift your shirt tail and with you bending over with your bare bottom facing the class proceed to administer up to three strokes across it.
As a deputy, all those due to be punished came into the office together at 4'15 and were whacked in front of each other. Others could, if they wanted go outside and see right into my office and would have a clear view of the boys inside actually taking the whacks on their bottoms, be it on pants or bare. Their was no nonsense about it not being right for boys to be made to bend over in front of others and have punishment administered across their bare bottom....it was standard. The sight and sound of a boy having his bottom slippered or caned, certainly if it was bare, certainly deterred others from being naughty.
