I was also spanked across my father's knee as a young boy he always used his "special" slipper which I had to fetch from the drawer. Also I was taken into the dining room to be punished and the door was closed which indicated to me that he thought I had been really naughty and he had decided I was to be given a very painful spanking. @jackcros We are both from a similar era when most youngsters growing up were punished with the slipper usually over Dad's knee. Certainly most of my friends at that time were also spanked in the same way and we all grew up respecting our parents for teaching us how to behave properly.
