I Got Spanked As A Child

My parents had a desginated spanking brush, which was an old wooden hairbrush. and getting a spanking was called "getting brushed".

i am aware that some of my friends had worse spankings at home with their parents using belts or whatever... but the one my parents gave me always had me in tears even as a teenager, but i never had any welts or bruises left the next day.

My parents used to hit us with either spoons or belts and often it seemed like it was more for stress relief for them judging by their angry contorted faces as they were hitting us for reasons we mostly couldn't understand. Then one day my brothers and sister grew up and had kids but now don't trust our parents to be alone with them, in case they beat them the same way. Well they never thought that one through did they.
