@donut my husband likes math too. He's an electrical engineer. He was in the Navy and we would nerd out on vector math. He would bring home actual problems and we would determine another ships course and speed using radar distance and direction.

@SomeMichGuy from not knowing how to do anything. By the time they're a senior they can take a challenge. Go through the engineering design process, create a design, model it in software and go into the lab and create it.

@Lisa82 ...so an ME-esque program with initial ideas feeding into computer modeling / analysis and 3D printing?

@SomeMichGuy 3d modeling, 3d printing, cnc machining, good old fashion tools for wood working, soldering electronics. Programming. Some metal work.
