We are not young, we are in grandparents territory, our children are on their own and not living with us. We found two basic positions we liked - missionary with a pillow under her bottom and a version of doggy style that had her start up on her knees when I gave her oral sex and then laying flat on a pillow while I entered her from behind.. only vaginally... we have never tried anal sex and we are not about to do so. She has always really enjoyed me giving her oral sex... It is the principle way she achieves orgasm.. I do not like getting oral sex, I am pretty certain that it is me not liking it vs her not being good at it.. I prefer vaginal intercourse.. She likes foreplay, so do I.. then she picks what position she prefers that day and I give her my mouth, often adding a vibrator and I do not stop until she makes me stop.. Then she has me enter her.. but before I do I put a dab of lubricant on my circumcised glans and spread it down the shaft.. because it makes insertion much more comfortable for us both. She typically sets the pace... it takes me far longer to orgasm now than it used to when I was a young man... The good part is she is much more tolerant of it taking me longer than she used to be. I only ejaculate when I am fully inside her, never on her... She lets me remain in her for a few minutes afterwards.. Does it get boring or stale? Never. We both look forward to enjoying one another each morning - yes she prefers mornings. The joke is that sex is like oxygen, people do not think about either until they are not getting enough... I get enough and honestly it is all I can handle.. There are a few side effects of frequent and regular sex. One is that I am and have always been perfectly monogamous. Because she is all I can handle.. I never masturbate, she sees to it that I do not have to... We rarely if ever argue about anything, one tends to be very considerate to their partner. I have never had a "problem" requiring any drug intervention. I tend to think that to a certain extent sex is like any other form of exercise - and regular and frequent activity helps ensure reliable dependable performance.
