So the question is, how often do you usually masturbate? I was shocked at how low the numbers were in some of the studies. Perhaps one issue with studies is people being honest about a taboo subject. Anyway, please respond!! I will give my own personal answer and a few responses!

Currently it varies between your 1-2 and 3-5 options. I will tell you that I've been masturbating since my early teenage years and I used to try to give it up. In retrospect the decision to accept that I was not going to give up this habit was hugely important for my overall well-being and good health. It was also important to me to realise that there is no contradiction between having a good married sex life, and also masturbating.

I am rather amazed that my wife has never walked in on me masturbating, though! I think we would both be very embarrassed especially if I was looking at pictures at the time. I ascribe this to the special protection of the Goddess Aphrodite :) <3
