Bring back spankings

I’m a mom of 4 preteens. One boy 3 girls. I was raised with spanking as and when needed. It thought me right from wrong. Children are running wild committing crimes with no manners and no respect. My children are always complimented on their manners and respect they get on great in school. Why cause mom will put them over her lap when it is needed. Not in anger or hate but in maternal love. My nephews and nieces are the same way. So if you have children and are at your wits end or don’t know how to punish take my advice and give them a sound bare bottom spanking and watch them change. As the old saying goes spank with love , do not beat.
I don’t care if you disagree with me.

@Hollycarey That's the problem with anti spankers. They can't leave pro spankers alone to raise their kids as they wish. They must criticize and moralize. I give you credit for not hiding out like most spankers. Keep up the good fight. Gram

Couldn't agree with you more. I know my wife and I always got excellent results when it came to family discipline with our two daughters and son by applying a good solid wooden hair brush where it did the most good! Right on the bare bottom!

💯% agree. My mom only spanked me for dangerous behavior. I'm sure i would've ended up in the hospital or worse quite a few times if i wasnt afraid of getting my bare bottom blistered

i appreciate the private discussions.. i think there is more open, honest and helpful feedback. Our society is struggling with young adults who were part of the time out / corner time generation... Never held accountable.. My mother was very firm handed, and i had many implements used on me... while i hated them, i know i earned every one of them... Our church, and close friends believe in accountability... Many folks today never knew the fear of the barn or woodshed..

Well you do what works for you. There is a guy her that stopped spanking his kids for about 8 years but I suggest he go back to it because he said it worked preteens and teenagers are not stupid they know what will get them spanked so it’s simple follow the rules or else be ready to take your pants down. If people do not believe in spanking that’s fine also so stay with misbehaved kids or do what works for you.

firm handed punishment is the only thing that will help our society these days.. so many kids, even adults, never were held accountable.. hand punishment until 12, paddle, hairbrush or belt until 18 if needed... even older if under the parents roof if needed as well.
