Hello everyone!
I'm Roberta, a 19 year old girl originally from Europe but currently living in Kenya. My family moved here when I was young due to my father's job as an engineer, and my mother worked as a teacher at an international school.
Unfortunately, my parents passed away in a car accident when I was still young, leaving me without any immediate family to turn to. Thankfully, a wealthy Kenyan couple who knew my parents took me in as their ward and became my tutors and guardians.
While living in Kenya, I've learned that corporal punishment is still a common form of discipline used in schools and households. My guardians have a very traditional approach to discipline and use physical punishment, such as spankings and time-outs, to correct my behavior. Although it may seem harsh to some, I understand that their methods come from a place of love and care.
