I Was Punished With A Strap

7 years ago I thought I threw away an expensive leather strap. He purchased a rubber one and whipped me very hard. I thought the whipping was never going to end. Well...we have been doing a,lot of remodeling in our house and he found the leather strap yesterday. I guess I hid it do well I forgot where.
It's a little damaged and he wants to know how to repair it so he can use it again. ( I'm about to be reminded as to why I hid the damn thing in the first place)

Is it a thick razor strap? Those hurt alit worse than the belt

@1olderguy20 it's a double strap. And yes it's thick. It has holes on one strap and it's solid on the other. It's called Daddy's Double trouble by London Tanners.

@SW-User it is. Or at least it was. All he had to do was pull that out of the drawer or the wooden paddle and I cringed. Started crying as soon as I saw it.

@1olderguy20 yes. And blistered a few times. I will never forget the last time he used it. I was a crying mess and I couldn't sit comfortably for days. That was 7 years ago?

@Klt3sHottie for repairs, may I suggest a lot of TLC with saddle soap and of cpursexanycstitching that may be required.

Hang in a bathromm that gets frequently steamed up so as to restore the flexibilty... the more saddle soap... and some leather polish even!

@Justme264 thanks! Sounds like a plan. I can't leave it hanging in the bathroom, (kids and one bathroom).
But I may be able to purchase saddle soap.

Ah yes... sorry... did bot think of family bathroom... perhaps boil a kettle, wear asbestos gloves and hold in the steam instead?
