I Had To Write The Same Sentence Over And Over As Punishment

I got lines for a few things at school: chewing gum, talking in class, being late to class, and when I was in year 9, we got a new head of year who had a zero-tolerance policy on uniforms, so I ended up writing lines for minor uniform infractions, too. This included the longest set of lines I ever had to write, which was 250 times [i]"I must tie my school tie so that it is of a reasonable length, and without an oversized knot"[/i], obviously, for having my school tie too short.
I hated getting lines at the time, but for some reason, I occasionally find myself wanting to be set them again, and spend an evening back in uniform, bored and with a sore hand.
