do you think we live in a time where the west is under a perverse pornography spell

because sex -perversion & porn seems to be endemic in society now and dominates everything, in all areas, everywhere you look now there's a sex theme, or undercurrent of it....like a the population is under some perverse spell and pornography is the main subject and motivator in people's thoughts now....maybe because of the porn industry? i don't think that's helping.......and with sex perversion and pornography, it can really overtake people's minds, override their rationality and take over everything....cause people to not think right? it's a strong perverse addiction...that's why i described it as a ' spell ' people are under....like they're 'spellbound'?

i mean look at instagram for example? just going on that site demonstrates my theory- everything i'm saying.
