Photo Of The Day 😂 Would YOU own one?

Known as a very chatty cat, the Sphynx often has a raspy or hoarse voice and can be very demanding when they set their mind to it! Sphynx cats love affection and interactions with their owners, in fact it might be better to say that they crave these interactions, so they can be very vocal indeed! These are really the sweetest cats ever. They sure love the affection. Their "down" is very soft.

They are medium-sized, weighing 6 to 12 pounds, with an average lifespan of 8 to 14 years. Energetic and loyal, Sphynx cats are sometimes described as dog-like.

That's an ugly little sod. Are you sure it's not been mummified?
LadyGrace · 70-79
@Thodsis you're killing me hahaha

I don't think it's right either. And no I don't own one. I agree with you wholeheartedly. It is animal cruelty and abuse. Yes, she always has them wrapped up or dressed up. The poor thing doesn't even have whiskers.

This is my granddaughter, Maddie's hairless cat. I just had to share with you to see what you thought of her. Haha

These are the sweetest cats. And their bodies are very tall and their limbs are very long. She has three of them. This one is an older female. Their fine coat is very soft. That FACE! 😂😂😂 Only a mother could love. lol

No.. And i think the breaders who bread hairless cats should be charged with animal abuse...

But if you own one make sure you keep them warm.. Poor kitty..
LadyGrace · 70-79
@Adstar I wonder what they cross bred them with.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace I think breaders given enough generations can keep on selecting the cats with least hair untill they get what they desired.. There also may have been cat lines who had this as a random outcome that would strike them every other generation.. those cats would usually die from exposure but once someone started to breed for the hairless outcome then it slowly became every generation..

@Adstar Thanks, Star
