I Have a Naughty Side

We are planning to move to Dubai and Kavita is a bit concerned about the dressing rules there. As per my.friends they said it's not much an issue to wear sexy there but I would like to know what my friends in similar worlds have to say on this.

Dubai is a dual culture. So they tolerate Western Dress well in all public areas. In a mosque a woman is advised to dress modestly by western standards. But no more than this is required. If you live in an enclave used by foreign workers you should have no problem with alcohol either. But make sure you do not leave the foreign worker areas or international resorts with alcohol or while intoxicated. Other that this, regular good manners will see you through.

@whowasthatmaskedman Could you help me with areas where it is safe and good to be in sexy clothes, or rather say nudity? Any chances that we could get deported?

@Varun In that case I would restrict yourself to the better International resorts and abide by their codes. I have no experience with Nudity. For Beachside resorts I would suggest the Jemeirah Beach area. It is up market, and money tends to buy more options. Be prepared to be more conservative if you go to the older parts, such as the Souks.

@Varun No. My time there was business related. The resorts and foreign enclaves are self managing legally. But... If you do seriously misbehave and offend the wrong person, you can find yourself in serious trouble. Jail time or worse for public drunkenness. Remember where you are and you will be fine. Just like any stranger in a strange land.

@Varun Ummm No.. It is an Islamic Country. You are only allowed alcohol in international resorts and a few international enclaves.,
