Who calibrated time?
@UKNaturist
Mankind calibrated time. That's why time doesn't actually exist. Time is a man-made tool, but not something that actually exists in the universe. Eternity exists but time has nothing to do with Eternity.

@swirlie - however, there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in the day. How did 'mankind' come up with these measurements?

@UKNaturist the same way mankind came up with 3 feet is a yard, 4 quarts is s gallon and 16 oz is a pound!

@Pisciatto1 - but instead of just accepting those measurements, do you never wonder how they came about?
Pisciatto1 · 26-30, M
@UKNaturist I sure do wonder. A little research and some googling will get you reasons why we have such units.
@UKNaturist
It doesn't actually matter how they came about, what only matters is that mankind came up with a reason at the time and ran with it. The most important thing to remember is that 'time' itself doesn't exist. That's the bottom line here.
Even with units of fluid measurement, there have been many changes over the years, most of which originated in Great Britain and was dependent upon what was going on in society at the time.
