Of course Putin will get what he wants. Ukraine does not have the military power to defeat Russia and they will not be getting any military support from anyone else.

@SW-User Yeah but I see people posting things thinking Putin is losing when it’s the opposite.. 🤔
SW-User
@AuRevoir Just wishful thinking. It does seem Putin was thinking this would take quicker than it is taking, but there's no way he will lose. It's just putting off the inevitable.

@SW-User I think he expected Ukraine to see the army he’s using and the lack of force coming in for support, being an incentive of them to give up but now it’s turned into a soap opera..

🤔 I imagine a lot of people will behave with “shocked” expressions as he takes over..

Didn’t Germany take over quite. A few spots as well before any “true” intervention took place..

And they have a conjoined military operation with China.. So.. 🤔 They’re all set for literally everything..

@SW-User conquering is easy... the usa conqered afghanistan and iraq super easy. but occupying a country or even annexxing it is extremely hard.. the usa couldnt do it with iraq, afghanistan or vietnam... and russia will collapse from santions before they can establish any working administration in ukraine
AuRevoir · 36-40, M
@IncredibleMom You’re wrong. Sanctions aren’t even effecting Russia right now.. it’s basically our governments way of virtue signaling.

Russia has spent the last 8 years becoming even more self sufficient since it’s last sanctions..

And it’s greatest ally is China..

The reason why the US had difficulty occupying anything is because of moral debates about ethics and the red tapes being woven around everything..

Half the Ukrainian population wouldn’t mind being converted while the other half see at as horrifying? Sound familiar? Democrat/Republican.. life is often split down the middle.. winning half the populace is usually easy for an invading nation..

You’re going to end up completely shocked if you choose to avoid the reality of the situation. No actual reinforcements are being sent to aid Ukraine’s small military. Only moral support and small hedge funding.

Purim’s occupational efforts are to reclaim the land for that which it is. Which is why the movement of his forces aren’t devastating as it currently stands. He doesn’t want to waste resources to rebuild it. He’s trying to get them to give in. And surrender so he can claim it with as little collateral damage as possible.

So unlike America’s attempts to “occupy” Russia has a solid intent of occupation. Where as America never truly would take the land for itself. But implemented the big stick system that Roosevelt used in many diplomatic situations. Only occupying with forces but never claiming the land as their own.

Whereas Russia intends to actually absorb the land as their own.

@AuRevoir yeah you will see in 5 years... this is nothing that will be over in a few weeks. russia will eventually take kyev but that doesnt mean they take control.
AuRevoir · 36-40, M
@IncredibleMom They will take control. The fact you can’t see that is a bit strange.

When I so clearly pointed out the differences in policy. And it’s effects.
IncredibleMom · 36-40, F
@AuRevoir you gave an opinion... that is fine... your opinion is not a fact. learn the difference.
AuRevoir · 36-40, M
@IncredibleMom Yet yours is?

How narcissistic of you.. 👀☕️ Mine actually is fact concerning the differences in policy, at most my opinion can be formed in the prediction of outcome.

However you’ve only given false facts when concerning your awareness on how occupying a land or territory works..

Just like WWII when many were slow to act. Not believing German occupiers would be a real thing. And that it would eventually “dissolve” in “5 years” as you said.. 🙄☕️ Man we’re they surprised when that didn’t happen..
