@WaryWitchWandering Hate to say this, but I and a growing number of Americans view this as genital mutilation, for no useful medical reason, without the consent of the baby. Few other places in the world do this. We have outlawed doing the same to women--we should outlaw doing it to men as well. It actually grew as a custom to stop little boys from masturbating in the late 1800s, and the guy (Kellogg) who pushed it said the same should be done to females, to reduce pleasure, which it does for both genders.
