@Docdon23 In countries where male circumcisions is not routinely done it is sometimes found necessary in adulthood for medical/physical reasons (e.g. incidents which can be painful, bloody and embarrassing). Some countries have therefor adopted it as a pre-empive measure against later problems.

@LillyOLilly Dodcon is wrong to equate male with female circumcision. In females it may include removal of the clitoris. In males that would be equivalent to cutting off the glans, the head of the penis. I've never heard of that being done anywhere.
