I go commando when I'm travelling on vacation much more comfortable for long trips in the car.

Vacation time is what contributed to our kids going full time commando. My husband and I had given up underwear before we were married. Every summer vacation I never packed underwear for our daughters and that allowed them nearly two weeks each year without panties. There were mostly in bathing suits or sleeping most of the time so I wasn't going to bother with underwear.
As they got older and figured out both parents were always commando they asked what was the difference between vacation and the rest of the year for them. We had to impose some rules concerning school but ultimately just gave in and let them make their own choices. There took many family commando vacations.
