For the fun of it...

At one time, Prince was celebrated in the LGTBQ society for his sexuality, openness, and androgynous being. I can see it. He then became a little bit of a zealot religiously, who I think was exploring meanings. And it's quite possible, in his sex (man), he never had to understand everything, but I remember reading an article written by a gay writer, that said no matter how some of the things he wrote later turned out to be, he couldn't deny Prince helped the movement in accepting sexuality.

I'm guessing in a time when sex was closed up in idea, they did matter.
