I have developed my very own technique to get all those knots out a body. The important is to start with the soles of the feet and find those trigger points. Feet, just like hands are mirrors of the body and there are trigger points everywhere that match an area of the body.
Knowing where they are and what they do can also take care of your swollen nub a little South or North, depending whether you massage the palm of the hands or the sole of the feet.
But massages don't only have to be performed by hands, there are other body parts that can achieve the same results.
That is what I call having a good taste for nubs (or knobs). The swelling will initially increase but at the end, if the job is done properly, the swelling will go away and you are left with a feeling of being totally drained.
