oldage sagging erection

An old man 78yrs+ who taking a walk in the park,, was highly dejected and seemed demoralised,
He told me his wife had cursed and downtrodden him regularly as his erections were soft and drooping? as he was a diabetic he was unable to give any satisfaction after 45 yrs of marriage ...
IS this a fact ?

Yes--as we age the erection does not stand straight out any more, but it still gets very hard and still feels amazing when touched or put to good use
