It's true. My work occasionally has days where we play games, like laser tag, or volleyball, or hockey, or mini-car racing. I usually end up with a smile and can't get off my face; I truly forgot what it is like to play.

I understand. Back then we would play different things with different kids. If it were mixed guys and gals it might be catch ‘em kiss em, or tag. One friend we pretended we were bus drivers with our bikes, another Batman and Robin.
There was so much more before internet! Of course once I thought of a neighbor girl as a buddy and wanted to sleep out with her. I was shocked when they said no lol!

Yes, I loved playing with my cousins in the yard and the neighborhood kids. I wish I had friends to go have fun with but can’t find any.
