I Christian Domestic Discipline

my parents were in christian domestic discipline as a lot of their friends

i remember the strict rules at home . my Mom had to wear what Dad decided .

she was really obedient and respectuous for Him

and i know she was regularly disciplined by Him as punishments and as Maintenance Discipline

I occasionnaly ( they though they were alone at home and the sleeping room door was open ) had the opportunity to watch how she was disciplined

i heard them praying before she got undressed
she had to lay on the bed , het arms spread as on a cross and asked to be belted

so did my Dad

after being disciplined , she of course cried a lot

i knew she was then in His arms to forgiveness and to pray and thanks to be so strictly taken in hand

I was really admirative of my parents

Some people are into S&M and B&D, and between consenting adults, this is fine. My concern with the "Christian discipline" described in the post is that the woman may not have the freedom to object or the ability to leave. If that's the case, then it's abusive regardless of the religious excuse.

Also, forcing children to witness this behavior is abusive even if they are not physically punished themselves. I would say the same thing about parents who practice S&M; they should do it behind closed doors and not share this with their children. I would call CPS if I found out about anyone doing this, either for fun or as part of some religious ritual. I don't give any respect to people who engage in depraved behavior just because they say it's for religious reasons.
