Kids these days don’t know respect 🍑

This is a topic I don’t discuss much publicly but i wanted to talk about it here.

Is respect not common anymore? Kids can be so disrespectful! Raise your kids right if you want a peaceful life. If your kids act up, discipline them. Discipline however you see fit but it has to be done! I deal with discipline for my kids as well as my sister’s kids because they don’t take her seriously because all she does is laugh and don’t take punishments seriously! What happened to gets getting their butts tore up?! My kids misbehave often but they behave like way better since I spank them! Do better parents! You don’t have to spank but at least give them some kind of discipline! Damn!

While it may stop behavior in the immediate moment, it is linked to increased aggression, antisocial behavior, mental health issues, and, in some cases, serious injury.

But it can be effective in lieu of parents, understanding why their kids are acting up.

@Northwest It depends what the punishment is. A lot of research paints all corporal punishment with one stroke, which is super inaccurate. It would be like putting grounding in the same category of solitary confinement.
