I Wish I Could Discipline Other Peoples Kids

@Zsuzsanna1 It takes a lot of maturity to appreciate being disciplined. I am sure you are proud of them when they cooperate.

@Rachely3 I’ve always felt that the first switching is one thing, but the SECOND one - and every one after...when you know just how badly it’s going to sting, and that there’s absolutely nothing you can do to prevent it from happening...that’s the one that truly begins to “educate”....

When properly administered, switchings can have a very powerful “deterrent effect”...one that can last long after the culprit is able to sit comfortably again..:
