Wife and I are going on a short getaway out of town and the highlight is multi-course dinner at a fancy restaurant we’ve had our eye on for a while. Is a preventative/reminder spanking better at home before we get on the road (1hr drive) or at the bed and breakfast right before we head over to the restaurant?

I personally think at home because a long drive with a sore bottom always keeps me in line. It's a constant reminder to behave myself once we are there, or my bottom is going to hurt worse when we get home.
