Rules and discipline

My wife and I have rules when it comes to our dynamic. Yes we have an open marriage. I've a committed partner that I have been with for the past 3 years. He is a member of our family as much as she and I are. The wife and I have been trying to get back on track. As parents we are great but as husband and wife and dom and sub we both need some work. We have rules. There is not a lot of them but there are some big rules that I have. The rules are for her safety and those should never be broken. This morning she broke one of those rules and now there has to be punishment that comes with the breaking of those rules. Her little ass will be sore come the end of this weekend. It hurts me that she has shown disobedience , she knows how important these rules are. I have hopes that she will learn from her punishment and remember her sore ass the next time she wants to break one of my rules.
