I was once staying in a hotel room and decided to have some fun. I took out my room card key from the room card plug so that it shows in the hotel system that the guest has left the room. Then, I went into the bathroom, waiting for the cleaners to come in the room for cleaning(PS, I had already noticed before that the hotel had lady cleaners). As soon as I heard the door open and close, I took off all my clothes and came out of the bathroom with a towel on my head, pretending to be drying my hair. There were two ladies in their thirties and they were wide-eyed and shocked at the sight. Then one of them closed her eyes and said "I am sorry, sir. I am so sorry." The other one, on hearing that, realised that she had been staring and she too put hands on her eyes and they both left apologising. It was unbelievably thrilling and exciting.

No clairebare, they only send cleaners when the room key is plugged out from the key socket. Because that indicates that the person has left the room.

lol claire, this is in India. Here you plug in your keycard into the socket after opening the room and only then the lights turn on. As soon as you take out the keycard, the lights turn out and then you go out locking the room with the same keycard and keep it with you.

I've never heard of hotels that track when people come and go. Strongly questioning if this was just a dream you had.

What country is this in? Sorry...just I've traveled a lot and NEVER seen this mysterious key socket where you plug in your room key.
